📱
My Disney Experience App
Everyone should have the app and be linked in the same travel party. Use it for Lightning Lane bookings, mobile ordering, wait times, and park maps. Link your park tickets before you arrive.
⚡
Lightning Lane Strategy
Book your first Lightning Lane at park open (or 7am for resort guests). Stack them throughout the day. Individual Lightning Lane for top rides like Tron, Guardians, and ROTR is worth considering.
🍔
Mobile Food Orders
Use mobile order for quick service to skip lines entirely. Place your order 15–20 min before you're hungry, then tap "I'm here" when you arrive. Game changer with a big group.
☀️
Beat the Heat
April in Orlando means warm days. Pack sunscreen, hats, and portable fans. Mid-day can get hot — use this time for indoor rides, air-conditioned shows, or a resort break.
🚌
Old Key West Transportation
Resort buses run to all parks — allow 45–60 min travel time. Boat service to Disney Springs and EPCOT area. For MK, the monorail from the Transportation Center is the magic way in.
👶
Little Ones (1–3 yrs)
Rider Switch passes are free — one adult rides while others wait, then switch with no extra wait. Great for the 1yr and 3yr. Most Disney characters are great with little ones — check the app for meet times.
🧩
Splitting the Group
With 14 people across 3 families, splitting up is smart and often better! Coordinate via group chat for meal meetups. Smaller groups move faster and can hit more rides.
🌧️
Florida Rain
April can bring quick afternoon showers. Pack ponchos — Disney's are pricey on site. Rain often clears in 20–30 min and actually thins out the crowds. Keep moving!
